I have my torsion bars cranked up and am wearing the crap out of my front tires. These were brand new 2000 miles ago.

If I have the torsion bars cranked up is there anyway around wearing the tires out on the shoulders?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

did you have your front end aligned AFTER you cranked your torsion bars?

No.......it'd didn't pull or do anything weird so I said what the heck? How would they adjust that with alignment. Is alignment side to side or up and down also?

alignment is the camber of the tire itself
you need to have it aligned, as when you crank up the torsion bars, it throws your front end out of alignment....can be done for under 100 bucks

i recommend you get it done real soon. it will stop the premature tire wear

the sad part is,now that the wear pattern is in set you probably will never see a quarter of the wear out of those tires you could have

All is well now...........had the local shop align and adjust all. Front tires went to rear inside duals and the inside rears are not on the front.

Smoooooth as silk.

Sounds and probably looks like a good place to put those tires.:)

Smoooooth as silk.

Probably not...... Make sure you have some space between the upper control arm and the droop stop.

Cranking can affect caster, camber and toe. Because of the amount of bump steer that GM accepts as satisfactory on these trucks, toe is most affected when they are cranked. Excessive toe will wear tires as shown.
