New guy here. Well, new to the forum, not to duallies.

I just picked up a 2009 Sierra SLT Crew Long Bed Dually. In the past I've had Ford F350s, one a dually, the other a short-bed single rear wheel. Both my Fords had running boards, but I think on the new truck I want nerf bars.

I've seen the Putco Boss bars, and really like them...except the price. I've also seen pictures of the ICI bars, and they don't look bad (and at half the price of the Putcos, they start looking GREAT!). Who else makes a wheel to wheel with the dually kickout? What's the difference in quality between the brands? Anybody got pics of a black GMC with black wheel to wheel bars?

I bought my chrome Putco Boss bars off Amazon. Cheapest price I found but still expensive!

I have the ICI's and holding up well for 22 months.

Those look great - what brand are they?

I have Putco Boss bars, love the size, but not the raised step pads and mounting style. But I dont have much room to complaign as they were super cheap on Amazon.

The ICI mounting and step pads look much better, but they are smaller size...

Got the Pulco Bosses going on three years now and they look brand new. Expensive because they are stainless. You get what you pay for. If you want a quality heavy duty 4inch (vs 3")stainless nerf that looks great on your dually, spend the $$ & get the pulco's.

I've got the N-Fabs with the extra third step. Recently installed and love'em.

i think smittybuilt has one they call a 6-step. wheel to wheel. saw it at a show, look pretty nice but didn't get it priced.

I have the same, 3 years. No problems.

I had ICI nerfs on a different rig. Rust issues (I live in near desert conditions) and stomp pads breaking off are two issues that I experienced.

I've got the N-Fabs with the extra third step. Recently installed and love'em.

I have the ICI.They look ok but when I step on the end to get in the bed the flex quite a bit. I don't think I would get them again. I'm 190lbs and they are rated for 500lbs. I don't think I woyuld get another set.

When I gotthemPutcu didn't list a set for my truck and they looked a lot better.
