I need to decide quick.
Here goes.
I have an 02 LB7 Crew Cab Dually.
I tow a 2500# drag boat (and trailer) and a 9500# tractor.
I am for mileage. I have a Banks big head (set to 25 to 26# boost), air intake, stage 3 hypertech programmer and nicktane filter. Banks has an exhaust deal going on.
I am not interested in blazing the tires. If I want to go fast I jump in the 160 mph boat.
My question is... is it worth the 600 bucks for exhaust? WIll I gain a mile or so per gallon?
I am planning on keeping the truck at least another couple of years.

BTW I do not want someting loud. I like quiet. The Banks is turbo back set up.

I have banks stuff and stuff that I bought from Nate. When I call banks after being on hold for 10 min. I get pissed because the dumass that I talking too is....well a dumass.

600 is a lot to sound cool.
BTW, I am a blown guy, not turbo guy or diesel guy so I ma not turned on by diesels. LOL

if quiet is the name of the game , stick with the stock exhaust and put on a tip

I have the CAT back Banks Monster 4" with straight pipe. In cab sounds no louder than stock and behind the truck it sounds awesome. I did get a mile more for MPGs when on the interstate but not around town. Paid under 300 from Banks, and just my opinion I have never had any problems with Banks.

I've always had great customer service from Banks.
Is the only other bitch people have $$?

Save some money and get a cat back system. You already have a catless front pipe. I ran my 03 with the stock front pipe and a banks catback and it worked perfect and saved me some $.

I really like my Banks stuff. If you're looking for a quiet aftermarket system, look into Hushpower or Magnaflow. I hear good things about both.
