I have a 2001 gmc 2500 and i want to put on bumper, roll pan, hood scoops and fancy running boards or side skirts and grille and i have a coulple questions

1 does anybody have experience with the street scene roll pans. i see there is a hole for the reciever switch but it looks too high for our trucks. does anybody know if it works.

2 all the side skirt options i have seen have been for short box trucks, does anybody know of a manufacturer that makes side skirts for a long box pickup

3 if a bumper cover was put on insted of replacing the entire bumper(most kits are bumper covers) what are the chances of rust forming because of it on the original bumper

I mght be able to answer a couple. The roll pan hole is for a hidden hitch set up. I believe they will still work if the mount where the tag goes dosent hang down to far to block the receiver hitch from the factory or a class 5 type. Many of rollpan makers out there so if you find one that wont fit right somebody else will have one cut a little shorter for it.

On the bumper cover, the trucks that I have seen with them on have had no trouble with it rusting, but that is here in OK and FL.

now my next problem is that street scene the company i was going to go with says their bumper covers dont work on an hd because it is a slightly different bumper and that their roll pans wont work on an hd because the frame is different. is this true?

hmmm cant tell ya that one I usually run the sir michaels rollpans(metal) Let me do some checking around and see what pans will fit exactly for it if street scenes dont.

I would go with a Sir Michaels roll pan also.
