in the past i have taken off my cat and not had a light come on,it was off for maybe 3,000 miles,i replaced it and drove my truck for 15,000 miles with no problem,i just got a banks system off of my friends truck and installed it tonight,if the light does not come on is it still setting a code and will it be a problem down the road???
