ok my uncle has got a 2005 lly, 4 door with bose stereo and when he bought it the stereo buzzed out of the passenger rear speaker, like an alternater. so he took it in to the dealer and they didnt know. so they put a new amp in it and nothing changed, then they tryed a speaker and it was worse, then a new stereo, and then a new rear stereo and nothing changed. so i unhooked the speaker and it went to the other rear speaker. when you turn the rear stereo on it quits so we pulled the whole center console out and checked wires taped wires. and when you play with the dash dimmer switch the buzzin gets louder and softer, its very strange but thanks for reading. any iteas would be great thanks again

There is a loose wire shield in the preamp wiring somewhere in that truck. Most likely somewhere in the center console. TSB 040844014A covers the diagnostic steps, but I can't seem to find a copy.

here it is:
Perform the following procedure to reduce the rear speaker buzz noise caused by the active transfer case.

Remove the left side IP closeout panel.
Remove the transfer case control module and mounting bracket from the IP mag beam.
Disconnect the C3 connector from the transfer case control module.
Remove the wire and terminal from cavity A (circuit 2250) from C3 connector. Tape back.
Construct a new ground wire using terminals P/N 12047767 and P/N 12089496. Route this wire through the grommet from the IP out to the engine compartment.
Install the new ring terminal onto ground stud (G105) located on the bulkhead just above the brake booster.
Install the new terminal into cavity A of connector C3.
Connect the C3 connector to the transfer case control module.
Install the transfer case control module and mounting bracket to the IP mag beam.
Install the left side IP closeout panel.

That sounds as if I may have the wrong TSB number for the truck in question.

the buzzing noise threw your stereo?? where did it throw it to??:D

As was said above, the pre-amp cords are picking up electrical interference somewhere. They need to be shielded better.

how about this one: PIT3534B

Inspect the following areas:

•Inspect the low level audio circuits (1947, 511, 1546, 512, 1547, 599, etc.) for opens or shorts between the radio and amp.
•Inspect center console wire harness, approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm) from connector C306 towards the amp connector, for excessive twisting. If the harness has excessive twisting the bare drain wire (circuits 2011 or 2099) may cut into the low level audio signals and cause this concern. Repair/Replace harness as necessary.
•The center console harness contains power and ground circuits which may induce noise into the audio circuits. Removing the harness tape and separating the wires will reduce or eliminate the noise. Repair/Replace harness as necessary.
•Inspected C306 and the amplifier connectors for loose terminal connections. Repair/Replace harness as necessary.
