MAN, if I didnt have bad luck I wouldnt have none at all. The co-pilot is hard to figure out and to top it all off my tranny has a terrible LEAK .going to have the thing pulled and checked. looks like front seal or bad converter who knows ,but I sure am getting tired of things going wrong.

I agreer with NODMAX ! I been done this road before with problems it can be diss-heartening,hang in there.

The leak in the front could just be the pump bolts and bad sealing,a easy fix.If it's a Stage V drop in the seal is new unless it was tore during installation.


What part of the Co-pilot are you having trouble with? Give Mike a call he can help a lot

mike this is ED we installed an ats kit yesterday we have a 700 t code on a snpon modis scanner shifts seem eratic and seems to slip the wires in harness do not match the book grey with black tracer not mentioned
brown wtih green assumed for map

Anyway the 700 code means there are more codes stored in the TCM.The wire that your mentioned is for a Exhaust brake and not used.(Thanks Mike he helped me with that too :) )

You will have some bumpy shifts until the adaptive coverage settles done.Best to put it in fast learn or reset all garage taps.
The code could be as simple as low fluid on initial fill of tranny and start up.

Try and retrieve the stored TCM codes for further diagnostics

You got the wires wrong. Gray wire is for exhaust brake. Green striped wire is for boost sensor, Orange and Brown wire for speed sensor at TCM, Black wire ground, and Blue wire soldered to back of cluster.

i mean that in the best way possible lol
let me fill u in on today
we are runing predator diablo at 40% stock tire size played alot with that seems to screw with top speed alot also stacked edge chip juice and attitude
farted with power levels between both
the book says if top speed is modified ats top speed not neassery
gonna try ats hard wire mod next maybe pred chip and edge are conflicting
this is a 05 duramax with 5000 kms i dont think this untested we just arnt sure where to go nxt
its been along day and alot of fuel
smoke is good for bugs up here in central ont
we also are running 285 75 r16 tires (backs are a little bald road hazard dont apply)
the tow haul mod is done as well
ats command ic max sub level max base (left side low )
tow haul max
700 code is still there
best speed 122 mph
no ****

we did an 01 4 dr dually power stroke yesterday as well edge juice and attuide mrbp exhaust gale banks trans command and new tranny with luk torqe con verter (done week before trans work only complete rebuild ) awesome works out of box
big damn box had fun with it today as well
dually smoke shows and donuts are cool
power stroke has are drop in filter
30000# trans cooler and rad suport air box holes added
this truck belongs to my 67 yr old dad lots of fun

ps i recomend this set up to any one
edge evo obd 2 chip is next 170 kph is not enough
im sorry my linguistic skills are not up to par once a gear head.............

highr level past 3 on juice and more than 40 on pred chip seems neg results
air temps in 32 c
air box mods next ?? and wich ones
also exhaust mbrp ??

we opend egt threshhold 2000dgrees f easy this aint good

ok mike one last pass and every thing shut down 100% slip engine light on 3 key starts just to make it move a call at your leisure would be appreciated

we still dont know any of the TCM codes so going any further with this is impossible without guessing...

I don't know if you tried to call Mike or not. But Mike is busy doing his own things as well. He has helped me and many others here with out asking for any payback. He does to help us out.
I would think if you have problems you need to get on the phone and try to contact him instead vise versa. I know this can be frustrating but he has things to do also.

To get the actual TCM code select transmission when you hook up the MODiS. You are selecting engine and that will only give you the P0700: TCM malfunction code. Let us know the actual code #.

Codes should show up even in the engine section of the Modis. In the transmission business we call the SnapOn scanner the red brick. The new SnapOn Modis is a bigger brick, very slow.

So here's a question that's been nagging me. WHY wouldn't transmission suppliers just use the copper washers behind the lower bolts on all transmissions to prevent stuff like this? I had an ATS do the same. Suncoast uses goop which appears to be effective as well.

called mike yesterday he said way to much for trans suncoast stage iv only way to go
had codes cleared on a gm tech 2 i dont know the actual codes it had i wasnt there
also installed mbrp turbo back exhuast, air intake kit, and a meth /water spray kit
the smoke level dropped way back with out cat and egts are way down still 1500 or so spray should help we hope
we could not try it trans is not very happy

it shuts tranny down high slip
edge o3 and pred at 40%
just too much for it
anyone else running this type of set up on an 05 let me know

You were asking about more mods, I'd seriously look at your fuel system. That will solve some of your bursting problems.

we are trying to sort out shipping with mike (trans stuff)
he dont like the pain with shipping to CAN
nobody here in the tranny buss knows what a suncoast or ats is
nver heard of a billet torque con
dum canucks i guess we dont get as carried away as u guys to the south
