How are the injectors holding up in the LLY's? Better than the LB7's?

NCMIC 06-06-2005, 11:35 PM hit and miss. depends on the truck i guess. i have 86k miles on my 04.5 lly and no problems with injectors. others may have some and others might not turbo-max 06-07-2005, 07:45 PM water/contamination realy seems to be the only real death to any of these electric over hydraulic squirters from what i have been told (dunno if that is 100% true or not, but sounds reasonable) DMAXITOL 06-07-2005, 08:29 PM 113,000mi + and counting, no problems yet on my '04.5 3500 D/A:clap: syncster 06-07-2005, 11:39 PM Mine has been in 4 times now 1st time it cleared up itself tech said #6 had stuck but was now working ok, 2nd time they replaced #8, 3rd time reflash, 4th time they are replacing the wiring harness for the injectors, said there are some bad connecters and they think this has been the problem all along. Hope so I should get it back on friday DCW 06-08-2005, 01:48 PM Have had my 2500HD duramax for four weeks now, only 3k on it. Driving home Sunday night and the truck seemed to die while doing 75 on the freeway. Chevy said it was the wiring to the fuel injectors and that the whole harness needed to be replaced. I'm still waiting for it to come back, will this harness solve the problem? | ||
