When you adjust a Cognito 4" kit and crank it up a little, do the same rules apply? By that I mean like keeping 3/4" distance between bumpstops and whatnot or are the measurements different or anything? Just curious if the ride is still better than when Cranked stock.

Thanks buddy. I know the ride will get worse when cranked but I read its still better than stock cranked. Is there any truth to this?

Lets talk tire size first.. What are you running or planning to run? If you can, keep those CV's flat and the ride will be ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Yea would like to only go with a 4" but the more I look at others truck I may want to set it closer to 6", we'll see I guess. I plan to stick with stock wheels with my BFG 265 75/16's but when they wear I will switch to the same size AllTerrain TA/KO's (awsome experiences with em). I would rather have a somewhat wide tire yet small over a skinny but taller tire. Not too wide though traction sucks on ice and snow round here. I know I could just leave it at 4" but I may end up wanting the taller look. Probably not because f the tire size but I'm thinkin I may.

Yea its probably more cause of the MT's I've got and not so much the width. When I go back to the AT's hopefully they'll be as good as they were on my halfton.
