I have a PPE Lift pump on order. Can anyone tell me what the fitting(s) are that you need to connect to it.? From the pics it is a female..but which type thread.? Bullnose, Hydraulic type w/O-ring or NPT,.? as well as size pls..am assuing it's 1/2' but good to ask those that have installed it or know.

I have an Aux Fuel filter I am installing at the same time. I want to hard pipe the pump to the filter and mount them on the same bracket. I plan on using AN type fittings (AeroQuip/Russel whatever, in blue red), and also have some left over blue 1/2" hose from a buddy's AirDog install to use. AN-8 works just fine on this hose.

Any help is appreciated.!

Its 1/2" NPT on the pump inlet and outlet. I used 1/2" NPT to 8 An fittings on the pump. Than ran a 120 deg 8AN fitting on the outlet and a 90 deg fitting on the inlet. I used some russel blue 8AN hose. I cut the factory hardline and clamped the hose over it. I mounted the pump on the crossmember where the fuel cooler is.

After doing some more research, I think i am going to go with a Kennedy lift pump instead. That way i don't have to build a bypass as i have found the ppe is not a flow thru. I dont want to be stranded on the side of the rod if it ever fails..and I see that a few have from reading here over the past 3 hours. Less shit to go wrong if it does fail. But good to know neverthe less. Kennedy is also 1/2" npt. gonna use similar fittings for mine too. Gotta love AN..quality stuff and it looks good to boot.!

I'm putting my pump up high on a 13 hi X 16 wide long bracket with a 4x4 aluminum angle as a protector on the pump side. notch the top for the line to go through - 45 degree AN8 down to a AN8 90degree to the pipe. I'm gonna post once installed in the fuel section when I'm done.

The kennedy pumps will be quieter too. My PPE pump is pretty loud but not as loud as the Fass pumps Ive heard.
