I just picked up a new napa air filter and it didn't have the glue on it. Is this new or did I get the wrong filter? Anybody have the right part number?

Thanks

you will also notice that they have a much lower pleat count than the AC Delco filter. Which means less surface area for filtering. I have looked at every brand carried in the north dallas area and nothing compares to the total filter area of the AC Delco filter.......... not even a WIX!! But no one carries the AC Delco in stock so I had to order it. A1618C is the part number

I've got quite a few customers that use them and they seem to be fine...According to the air filter test that was done a year or so ago, they aren't quite as good at stopping dirt as the OE delco units are. I have yet to hear of one coming apart (and I highly doubt that I ever will)

ordered the AC-Delco OEM air filter from www.gmdieseltech.com (http://www.gmdieseltech.com/) replaced the Fram (yes I know http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/Throwup.gif), (could not find the AC in the stores around me special order only and same price as above vendor), with the Ac-Delco the Ac had 2 times more folds and weighed 50% more than the Fram and glue lines were 2 times wider. Good thing this Place keeps up on the D-Max info this is were I found out about the better filters all around. please support the vendors.
