: Does the LBZ have a "Brake Torque" limiter?

Poking around here I notice that the older trucks had a Brake Torque limiter. Is there something similar on my LBZ? I've never been able to do a burnout from a standstill, so I'm hoping there's a limiter to blame, rather than a limp right foot.

there is a brake torque table but it doesnt seem to do anything on my truck at all. I have had intermittent issues with power limiting when the brake pedal is applied. and lately its more often than not that I run up against "A" limiter of some kind

EDIT: Looks like I need to upgrade my SW. These tables were introduced in 7.5.5. I'm still running 7.5.

Thanks for the info!

Those tables do work on the LBZ/LMM trucks. May not be your problem though.

I've never been able to do a burnout from a standstill, so I'm hoping there's a limiter to blame, rather than a limp right foot.

I can hold the brake and mash the throttle and light up my 35's no problem, then let off the brake and carry the burnout forever. I can also just mash the throttle and burnout for days with no brake hold. So I think something is wrong;) My tires are very expensive so I only do that once in a great while:D
