I'm pickin up a new Sierra D/A next week. I plan to put about 500 miles on it empty the start a 10k trip with a GCVW of about 23500lbs. What do I have to do the the Allison while on the trip?

just keep an eye on the temp gauge. empty is right about 100* above outside air temp and loaded up is anywhere from 110*-135* above outside air temp depending on how steep/long the hills are and how hard you are pushing to keep speed up the hills. Dont forget to turn the T/H mode on every time you restart the truck as it shuts off when the truck is shut off.

pretty much turn on the T/H mode as soon as you hook up and the set the cruise and sit back to enjoy the ride.
