got a problem with my 93 6.5 td, glow plugs work fine if the motor is cold but if i shut it off and wait over 15 to 20 minutes it wont start. the plugs do not even flash. only way to get it to go is to jump the controller for about 5 secs. I also just put in a new controller ,does the same thing.

93, sounds like a classic DB2 failure on the horizon. Pour a 1 pint of room temperature water over the injection pump when hot. See if it starts once the IP cools. It's a head/rotor clearance issue when hot. You could go for some extra glow time, it has been reported that it helps.

Texas Diesel Guy could give you more info on this one.

Put in a momentary switch to manually control the glow time.
