Has anyone installed these electric running boards? How many different manufactures make them and what's a good price. I heard the install is complicated, I have a 2005 2500HD CCab.

Thanks

Installed some amp researches on a Ford(sorry guys)-:t On a lift where I work it took the better part of 3.5 hours with 2 of us working on them. The worked great when we were done. Probably can cut that down by about an hour now that I have some expierance with them

I also installed the AMP Steps. Best $ I've ever spent. You wont regret it especially if you're lifted. Best of all doesnt take away from the lift :ro)

How high is the step from the ground? I am looking at getting these as the wife is afraid of how high a 6" lift is going to make the step in for her.

IIRC Kodiak does make a an electric running board now, think they are a little bit more expensive than the now Bestop(used to be Amp Research) running boards.

Anybodies opinions change on these things? Is it a gimmick or is it a good addition?
