I've noticed in the past few weeks that even though my recirc switch is on, I still get odors from outside sources in the cab. I also noticed today that when I turn the recirc switch on/off I don't get any increased air flow. Is this vaccum modulated like older trucks and is there something obvious I can look for?

Your help is appreciated!

electric actuator sometimes sticks or could have just failed. Best way to tell if recirc is working is to listen to the tone of the air coming out vents, it'll change between recirc and normal. Volume of air won't change much if at all

I am having this same problem with my Tahoe.. I was talking to the service writer at the dealership and he told me they have problems with it and to take it in they can fix it.. I will let you know what they find out...

Seems the actuator is bad. Got under the dash last night and found out it's not working at all. Wonder what that'll cost?!
