I recently installed the full featured signal mirror glass from the ('03+) on my '02 truck. I was able to hook up the heat and the turn signals with no problem, but I am having trouble with the auto-dim on the drivers side.
Apparently this is controlled by the autodimming rear view mirror via 2 wires. I've run the wires up into the headliner, but I am not sure which 2 of the 16 pins on the rearview I need to connect to. Does anyone have the pinout list for this connector?
My mirror (onstar integrated) looks like this, with the 16 pin connector shown below.

The following info is for the 2002 Inside Rearview Mirror, with Electrochromic, Compass, Outside Temp, and Onstar, connector info;
Pins 1-5 Not Used
Pin 6 DK GRN/WHT Wire 636 Ambient Air Temp Sensor Sig
Pin 7 BLK/WHT Wire 1704 Low Reference
Pin 8 BLK Wire 1850 Ground
Pin 9 LT GRN Wire 1324 Backup Lamp Supply Voltage
Pin 10 Not Used
Pin 11 DK GRN/WHT Wire 2514 Keypad Signal
Pin 12 LT GRN/BLK Wire 2515 Keypad Supply Voltage
Pin 13 PNK Wire 39 Ignition 1 Voltage
Pin 14 YEL/BLK Wire 2516 Keypad Green LED Signal
Pin 15 BRN/WHT Wire 2517 Keypad Red LED Signal
Pin 16 Not Used
Your connector pins are numbered, as shown in picture above;
-top row left to right, pins 1 - 8
-bottem row left to right, pins 9 - 16.
Reference 2002 Helms, pages 8-956, 8-957, 8-959
Looking at the schematics for the Inside Rearview Mirror with Compass, Outside Temp, and Electrochromic, (Onstar NOT included), I noticed the following wires also used:
Pin 5 GRY Wire 1690 Auto Day/Night Mirror Signal, (to Outside Drivers Rearview Mirror connector, pin G)
Pin 16 PNK Wire 1691 Auto Day/Night Mirror Low Reference (to Outside Drivers Rearview Mirror connector, pin B)
This Drivers Outside Mirror Connector is labeled : Top row left to right, pins A-D, and bottem row left to right H-E.
Reference Helms pages 8-955, 8-1063, 8-1076.
I don't know if the Drivers Outside Rearview Mirror Electochromic is really not available with Onstar, or if there is a schematic discrepancy. Hope this helps.

THANKS to Modified and Top Hog, I am now totally set!
My mirror wiring is EXACTLY as posted by Modified, with no grey wire and 1 pink wire (pin 13). Somewhat frustrated by that, I decided to take another look at the pinouts. Seeing the 2002 mirror without onstar uses PINS 5 and 16 and it says "not used" on mine, I decided to give those a shot.
I just pushed the wires in the pin holes as I don't have the proper female terminals to fit the connector. Fired up my flashlight to make the mirror dim and PRESTO the drivers side mirror dimmed too!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif I just need to identify the correct female terminals to fit in the connector, but for now my "custom by cobb" setup is working great.
Thanks again guys!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif
