I am hoping someone on here installs Python alarms or knows a lot about them. Last night my girlfriends purse was stolen and one of the things in it were her keys.-:t So I have to get the alarm reprogrammed with different codes so the stolen remote doesn't work any more. Anyone know how to do this? I know how to program a new remote to a current alarm but not how to change the codes all together. I would just go to the Cartoys near me and have them do it but the way I was treated a little while ago doesn't make me very willing to give up my money to them:mad:

I am not sure on the model of alarm (I know I know...) since it came in the car when she bought it and there were no papers. But the remote is fairly simple looking, four buttons: a green lock, green unlock, green aux., and red horn/panic buttons. Its on a 2000 mustang it that helps too.

just to add more info (even if its useless!). the remote model # is: EZSDEI475

also after more research on the net I think it is a 440HP security system, may be a 660XP though, but doubt it.

OK, I found out how to do it. this applies to the python alarms listed above, maybe even some vipers, but not sure. Try at your own risk!:
If you want to program a new remote/fob to current alarm, have door open and turn key to assy. Within 10 seconds tap the valet switch 7 times then hold it down on the 8th. Wait for it to chirp at you a couple times then press the lock button on the remote/fob all while still holding in the switch.

To set new codes follow above instructions except tap switch 9 times and hold on the 10th. If it works then your remote/fob will no longer work. After codes are reset follow the first instructions to reprogram remotes to new codes.
