Just as the title says, a friend of mine offered me his setup for sale. $400 installed. For the edge with attitude. Anything I need to be aware of first before purchasing it ? I have never had any performance parts on my truck before.

Also, he has a bullydog power pup for sale too for $300 i believe. Would I get better MPG out of the edge or the bully dog ?

What should I do ?

I have a used attitude -- no problems with it...

I have read about the old ones programming having some probs. Would I need to send it in to have it updated ?

Maybe I think there's a sticker on the back of the edge that says what upgrade you have IIRC 4. something is the newest one.

If you havent noticed, thats all im after is more mpg.

I like the smoothness of the Edge, though the Bully Dog is a nice box for the money. I ran the Bully Dog for a short a time and I saw about a 1/2 mile a gallon better than Edge.

Don't plan on better mileage. You end putting your foot into it alot more when you get the extra power!!

what mpg were you getting gmccall ?

If there is only a .5 difference then I definately will go with the edge since it has more features.
