Those that have done a speaker install on a 2003 crewcab, are you mounting the speaker to the door panel, or behind the door panel to the frame?:confused:

usually pull the panel off and hide it behind the factory grills for our installs, unless they want fiberglass then will build pods to mount in the factory location surfaced

When I pulled the panel off I saw that I could put it behind the the grill but still in front of the panel, or behind the panel. Just looking for the best suggestion.
