O C Dmax thanks for the info. have the edge reinstalled but it must retain the original 90hp setting. i would like to try the lower setting for towing,but tried severl times per edde instructions but no change.this edge was made 12-16-02 ver.4.61 is anyone aware of some thing that can be done to change setting to #1 or#2.thanks i really appreciate this forum it great. thunder head

Under the hood disconnect the two big plugs on the right top side of the engine. The edge will then plug into these connectors. Be sure to get all of the pins aligned properly and make sure they are secured. With the key on and the engine off shift the truck to either one or two and press and release the gas pedal twice and this will set it. D= Level 4 90hp, 3=Level 3 75 HP, 2=Level 2 60HP, 1=Level 1 30 HP. There is a newer version 4.81 available for the LB7 that I would recommend you can probably mail it to them and they will update it for you.
