Im currently looking at powder coating my H2 Rims and wanted to know whats all involved in the process. I have a friend that should be able to powder coat them for me,even though he does powder coat items every day for the company he works for. Im just not sure if i should have him do them or try and find someone in the south eastern wisconsin area that has powder coated rims before?

I'm no expert but years ago when I did some powercoating with my dad the first thing we did was a pully from a corvette. We sprayed it, came out good and then soaked it in some brake fluid for a few weeks. Held uped good. If some backyard mechanic can powercoat and it turn out good then your frien shouldn't have a problem with your wheels.
