where is this made?

I've heard it is cast in china and machined in U.S.A.?

any other info or good links out there? note: I am not using this part, just doing research.

I'm sure you've tried contacting Scat right? I have only heard good things about them. I did search for this question on the internet and it seems pretty common knowledge that they are cast in China and machined over here (I didn't know this though)
