Help. Tranny slamming and slipping. Check engine light went on and she's not shifting right at all. She jumps in and out of overdrive at random. Its at the dealership now after I tuned it back to stock. 22,000 miles and counting.:help:

Ask the dealer what codes were set (numbers not what the dealer says they mean). That can help some of the people here help diagnose the problem and validate what the dealer tells you.

This is what i gave to the dealership. About an hour later they called and asked if the stock program was in the truck or if i was running an aftermarket tune. I told them it was all stock. Kinda got me a bit worried.

Well why did you tell them? They could have easily retrieved the codes

Good luck hope you don't need it

Thanks a bunch. I hae the feeling that they're gonna try to deny my warranty because of a few parts. Exhaust flow codes do not make any sense. I have never messed with the egr valve. I do run an AFE stage II intake and its been on there for several thousand miles. It dosent make sense for something to go wrong now. I only told them the codes because when I detuned it with the hypertech, I had to clear the codes so I wrote them down first. I didnt know if I cleared the codes, they would be stored in the memory or if they could locate them later.

Interesting

All the codes except (maybe) the P0700 are Hypertec and Air intake related.Be interesting to see what codes are stored in the TCM as the P0700 relates to.

WITH the codes given that's the reason they asked.I would have replied "huh"?

You have to be cautious about this.Might just be something not related to the Hypertec but that's where they most likely will point if there is question.

Your at their mercy now

As far as they know, I DO NOT RUN A PROGRAMMER. I did have service manager ask me once: You put a chip in that thing yet"? I was like noooooo, but I have looked in to them. I didnt know if he was trying to feel me out or not so I played dumb. I have had really no problems with this truck in the past. Just from the Edge juice that I ran for several months before I got rid of it. I had too many problems with it and decided to take a step down and get a programmer. The tranny has been kinda querky the past few weeks. Once the tranny temp gets to or around 120-130, it shifts fune. I'm not really hard in it either so I dont understand why these codes were set now. I havent changed anything in about 6 months. If they do try to deny my claim, I will fight.

If they give you crap tell them you stop by Auto- Zone and they read the codes for you.
