The oil level was high when I checked it today. It's hard to tell, but I think it the oil smells like diesel.

Are the injectors bad, or is it something else? There are no other symptoms of injector failure (no smoke, starts fine, runs fine).

I hate to take all the mods off to go to the dealer and have nothing wrong with it. But I also don't want to damage the motor...

Any info is appreciated.

Put a drop on a paper towel. If it spreads fast, it is diesel. Chances are 99% in favor of bad injectors. Good luck !!

There's only a few things that can cause an engine to "make oil"
Antifreeze leaking into the crankcase via block crack or headgasket failure
Injectors leaking fuel into the cylinder

My bet is fuel, since you didn't note any color difference.
Defeinetely take it in..
