what tools do you have? It takes me longer than usual to do mechanical things but I would think it would take at least an hour or so. Will it hurt anything just to remove those things? I mean time yeah but you could get the alternator in and out there pretty quick right?

in my 05 i changed to a 185 amp and did not have to take anything off but the alt , which i had to beat in with a rubber mallot.

tensioner pulley, the airbox is different from 05-06.Thinking back I may have used a crow bar to release the tension on the pulley.

The tensioner has a 1/2 inch drive slot. Just take a 1/2" breaker bar with a small extension and that should do it,if its the same as 05.
