I have an 2004.5, 600 cummins. It has about 19,000 miles on it. I am thinking about replacing the stock shocks, especially rear to help when towing. The suspension is stock, no leveling blocks etc. I may however be adding load assisting air bags in the near future as well. What shocks have you tried and do you recommend them?

Thanks

I just put Rancho 9000's on my truck last weekend and love them. The adjustability is great. Empty I have the fronts set on 7 and the rears set on 3.

Blue600. Have you towed with the new shocks? My rear shocks feel 'dead' whether unloaded or towing. The front seems alright though. I figured maybe it was the nature of the beast being a heavy duty truck.

I kinda get that feeling too. When I put my leveling kit on the truck I ordered a set of the Heckethorn Nitro 9000 for the front of the truck. I noticed a huge difference up front afterwards. I wish I had replaced the rears at that time....I guess I still could, I just haven't. By the way, I had about 17,000 when I replaced the fronts.
