can anyone tell me what the oil pressure should be on a 6.5 td. The reason I am asking is to see if mine is running to high between 40-70. It has a new engine with about 11,000 miles on it now. Can a cdr make the oil pressure to high? Any help would be great new to the diesel world!

CDR has nothing to do with Oil pressure.

Spec is 10 psi minimum at idle and 45 psi at 2,000 RPM.

Your oil pressure is fine. My pickup runs 55-60 psi all the time save for hot idle where it's around 35 psi.

The CDR when hooked up like the factory intended it keeps the crankcase under a slight vacuum to prevent front and rear main seal oil leaks.
