I get 2000 rpms at 80 on the highway....the fuel mileage is about 16-17mpg. Maybe you guys should move up one or three tire sizes up from stock.

I'm aiming at 1800 at 80MPH too. But with small tires!

Just need to find the magic parts.

I think McRat is interested in pulling quarter mile trap speeds into the 120mph range...not pulling heavy loads.

Glad I got mine then (in carbon metallic)! Black is sweet, but a pain to keep clean.

ande6009 -Sweet rig! very nice lift. Are the Toyo's wearing well?

I'm glad I got carbon metallic as well... the wife talked me into it and now the color is really growing on me! It doesn't hide the dirt like my bright red truck did, but it's not too bad. Looks so awesome in the sun (when its clean of course)!

I was against the carbon metallic at first since it is soooo close to black, but now I really like it. Especially because the wheel flares are smooth and painted versus the unpainted and textured with black ;) . But I almost wonder if they are deleting it due to it's crappy durability. My blue and pewter trucks never scrached this easily! I know many complain about the ease of these trucks chipping, but the is the first time I've had any issues.

Do you guys with the carbon notice if it is worse?

You should try white... That is one brittle paint!

Yeah mine seems to chip easily. Touch up paint is in the glovebox, its been used a half dozen times at least. I wonder if it is all the colors that chip so easy....maybe it is their paint process.

The carbon metallic makes the truck look "richer" if you know what I mean, and looks black in the right light/conditions sometimes.

My Accord Hybrid is "Carbon Graphite Pearl" which is nearly identical in color, and it has the same effect on that car. I love that color!

Haven't had any chipping problems yet, but it has been in the shop more than it ha been driven getting things powdercoated and so forth. The tires only have about 1K miles on them, so it is too early to tell aboput wear. But the rear tires are going down fast from the standing burnouts!!!!!:ro)
