Anyone with answers would really be appreciated!!!

Yes it could be... easiest way to know for sure would be to take off your inspection cover. Don't forget your safety glasses, don't want to get any metal pieces in your eyes.

We recently had a truck in our shop with a busted flex plate. It can happen. Are you sure the torque converter bolts were all good and tight? Bolts come loose, vibration, busted flex plate.

Who did the install? Just a thought--I once dropped a converter bolt while installing a triple disc converter and wasn't able to fish it out with a magnet. Had to loosen up the trans and separate if from the block to get it out. I'M NOT SAYING ANYHONE DID THIS but if someone left a bolt floating around in the bellhousing there's no telling what would happen inside there.
The "no throttle" doesn't sound good. I can imagine that other problems could have resulted in broken pump gears--hopefully not. I'd also pull off the inspeciton cover, there should be evidence of the problem.

I broke one, it made horrible noises, mine broke between each hole and around all the bolts. I'm surprised it was still on there and moving the truck. I hung it on the wall in the garage!!!! Good luck hope its just a broken flex plate.

Thanks all that had some answers :) ! i found out it cracked @ the crank bolts from 1 to another till they were all broke, thats y it had no throttle just slipping/grinding . the 1st mistake i made was having a diesel shop do it ... but found out they only do fords . gm said the may have had the trans angled and the preasure of forcing it may have broke it .
