I have the Premium Bose system in my 03 and have had the Pioneer XM910 receiver and soundgate? adapter installed for over a year. Everything worked perfectly until last week where now when I toggle the source via the "Band" button XM is no longer an option!? All I get now are the normal FM1,2,AM1,2, CD options...No XM.

At first I thought my XM account had been disabled but verified it's still active via the XM web site. I also thought even if my account was disabled for whatever reason the head unit would still have the XM option via the Band button.

This afternoon I verified I have 12volts into the pioneer XM receiver. Not sure what else to check aside from the SG adapter ...then again I'm not sure if there is anything on the adapter to check ...and would require me to rip the dash apart, etc.

Thoughts? I looked for a fuse, etc. on the Pioneer unit and didn't see any ...besides I have 12V right on the plug end that plugs into the XM receiver.

Mine does this all the time when I change tunes with my predator. To fix it I remove the ground from the soundgate adapter when the key is on. The radio will turn off and you will get DIC messages. Then put the ground on, scroll through the AM, FM, etc twice and Xm will come back.

Cool, thanks Max I'll try that. Is the first time it's happened to me. Perhaps changing modes on the TTS Extreme did it ...or perhaps a spike in the buss or whatever. Now if I can only remember where I grounded the damn adapter :(

You would probably get away with removing the power as well. My ground is easier to get at so that is all I tried.

That did the trick. I just unplugged the connector going into the adapter and plugged it back in and that gave me the XM back. Thanks again! Your my hero.

Haven't been 100% pleased with the pioneer setup ...gets the job done but has it's quirks. It takes too long to change channels, not enough memory presets, etc. Been thinking about doing the OEM kit ...perhaps I will if it starts acting up again.

Same here. Not overly impressed.
