I just thought I would post something up here real quick about the above mentioned exhaust system for the DMAX. I guess the best way to comment on it would be a comparison of sorts.
A friend and I both decided to get exhausts for our trucks and I went with MBRP and he went with Pinnacle (off ebay). Mine came last week and we installed on Saturday in about 2 hours, including getting the old exhaust off (which took an hour). It came in 4 pieces including the muffler and was sized perfectly and couldnt have gone better. :ro)
His came yesterday and we decided to do it last night. The system came in 7 pieces including the muffler (guess longer boxes cost more). It was sized way too short and we were not able to insert the pipes completely into the next pipe for the sake of length. The tailpipe stuck waaayyy out and had to be cut down. The flared end on the "down pipe" that is attached with the band clamp was not flared sufficiently and took us about 2.5 hours to get attached properly and even then Im not comfortable with it. In short this thing sucks. Spend the extra bucks and dont mess with this pile.
Oh and IMHO, the MBRP sounds far far better too.
