Ok here we go. Put in 20 over injectors truck started popping with the PPE tunner, took it off and had it tuned with EFI Live made 539hp and 1129. Had to put a race plug in it. Then one day it sounded like a Poppin Jhon tractor. Found that I had a bad Injector harness. Fixed that and drove it about a 1/2 mile and BOOOOM white smoke and truck died. Found out that the CP3 was bad. Put an LBZ moddied pump, still no start. Replaced crank,cam sensors nothing, replaced FICM and nothing. I do know that fuel is at the injectors but the injectors are not firing. We did check for a blown head gasket, spun bearings, and any other internal problem we could think of without tearing the motor down. Motor tuns over and cant hear any loose parts. I have noticed that the tune that was sent for the new pump was for a GMC and not a Chevrolet same year model but diffrent vins. Could this be my problem? Or is my ECM fried? Help my truck has to run for our last pull any advice would be great we apperantly ave confused the D-Max Gods and my truck is laughing.

take the last tune you ran with EFI and load it in and see what happens. If yopu straight loaded the new pump tune in; more than likely the ecu is not reading the tune correctly. the two tune will have different OPS. you will need to take a running tune for the truck and convert the pump tune to that running tune that matches the OPS of the running tune.... Confused yet???

any fuel in the oil??

might need some new injectors, my lb7 smoked like a freight train only it was all white when my injectors went bad. truck was running fine but had put some really bad fuel in earlier, pumped it all out and went on my way, stopped at a rest area shut it off to check to oil and it wouldn't start till i got it home and put some either in it got it to run but it was pumping fuel out the exhaust so 8 new injectors and 50,000 miles and is still good with 160,000 on the od. hope you get it figured out
