I am finnished getting everything back on the motor but here is a connector that I can't find anything it goes to. Its right above the glow plug controller but the controller is plugged in already.
Is this something leftover for like the egr system like the two small connectors on the intake?

Sorry don't know what it is, but I have the same one hanging on my 1995 with nothing hooked to it, looks just like that one & in the exact same location.

I'll be watching this post, I hope someone in the know replies.

What year is your truck? what engine[f or s]?What colors are the wires in the connecter?

Its a 95 vin F c2500 pickup.
Not sure of the wire colors but I finally started it up this morning so I don't think its needed but sure would like to know what it went to.
I'm going to start a new thread with pics of my startup and issues with interior electrical later today or tonight. I will also get a sig set up to once I get all this worked out.

Possible 4wd harness? wiper motor?

does it plug into the IP harness? hmmmmm, looks kinda familiar.....

I have a 2wd. Everything is connected that I can see, wipers already there, glow plug relay there, the three connectors on bracket behind filter there. I don't see anything else this plugs into.
Well the motor was running pretty smooth without it so I don't think its the IP harness

I dont think my truck has that. It is a 96 (OBDII).

I know my truck has it, but the engine is out of the bay and I don't remember if anything was connected to it or not. If not, now maybe I won't worry about it when I button everything up.

I have it on my '95 with 4wd and I know the brown wire goes to the transfer case switch which activates the 4wd actuator, as that is what and where I tapped into with replacement harness for the motorized actuator upgrade. On the engine relay box side of that plug (shown in the pic) the brown is always hot with ignition on.

Anyone ever figure out what this plug is for?

Might it be another way to get into the computer?
