Hey guys, I have heard that you shouldn't use any fuel conditioner in the Duramax engine, and I have heard that it only helps. I have an 03 Chevy Duramax and have a good bit of Stanadyne PF left from my last diesel and was wanting to know if I could/should use it. Thanks for the help.

Yes. BTW, I am currently doing test (bench and real (in truck)) on 5 different products. As soon as I am done, I will be posting my findings as soon as am done.

over the last 3 years the emphasise by those in the know has been to use additive, as it is about the only lubrication you will get for the fuel pump and injectors, as diesel fuel lub has all but been removed.
good luck

I'm using Stanadyne right now. It is one that is "recommended" by GM.
