What should the psi be around if I have a stock cp3 and a ad150 lift pump at WOT? Because what I'm seeing with my stock set up seems a little high.

Lbz's Run 180mpa Or Around 26000psi Stock Max

Yup! 26Kpsi stock. When you start increasing the pulse width you will come to a point the CP3 cannot keep the pressure up to 26K.

Well running a couple of logs(6) I'm hitting 29007 ever time. Is this good or bad? And at desired is 26107 every time. With my race tune it doesn't smoke at all at 538rwhp (dynoed). If i increase the pulse do i also need to increase the timing?

raising the pressure on the lift pump will cause this. i bet actual is higher than desired even at idle had that happen to me. more pulse depending on how much might create a need for more timing, however personally i try to never exceed thirty degrees advanced. i have heard of 29000psi causing lbz injectors to crack, might wanna watch that. remapping the FPR might help it's ability to control rail pressure with the lift pump cranked up. keeping the supply pressure up to the CP3 will increase it's output as you have seen

The AD150 is no-ajustable so I will have to put an on/off switch to it. How do you remap the FPR? The timing is at 28 right now. So bumping up a couple degrees is ok. What is to far in terms of pulse width.

Thanks thou im hacking! exactly what does the non adjustability of the dog have to do with real life experience,? im gonna install the ppe shim kit soon and may purchase an airdog, but am i gonna run inta trouble down the road with the dog?

the air dog seems like an alright unit; and i suppose there are plenty of parts that can achieve 560rwhp, so installing the ad150 for improved railpressure would be correct in making a 600rwhp tank? ,,
thanks in advance.

in my opinion the air dog II is the best unit on the market and it has adjustable pressure regulator. for those without whose pressure is high enough that the ECM cannot keep actual and desired pressure close (with actual being higher) changing some fuel flow numbers in the tune will allow the FPR to control rail pressure with the higher supply pressure

Is this a sustained pressure or just when you let off WOT it spikes to 29K?

it would be dependent on your setup. if you have the pulse times big enough the cp3 can't maintain pressure then yes. but if not then the pressure would be higher all the time because of the increased supply(lift pump) pressure. I have seen turcks run 10000psi at idle when desired was only 6 with a raptor pump and regulator pressure cranked all the way up. pulse time was so wide that under load desired was 26000 and actual was 20000 and 23000 with lift pump pressure turned up and would spike to desired (26000) when letting off. a little change in the tune fixed that issue. ;)
