I got it figured out to either my glowplugs arnt working just right, or its my DB2 injector pump, I pulled the top off to check for debri, and what not, then noticed a fairly large crack Going across the Fuel shut off solenoid, would this Cause the Truck not to start? and would it also stop my injectors from not spraying the way they should be? im going to attempt to put up a couple pictures to show the extents of the cracks and Hopefully figure out if this is the underlying problem.

i remembered reading somewhere that a cracked fuel shut off solenoid should not cause any problems, but that post was like 3 years old and im really iffy with the size of the crack. i just dont want to go out and replace a part right away to find out i didnt have to

errr Maybe im Completely wrong in calling it the Fuel shut off solenoid, I just thought i remembered someone else calling it that So feel free to correct me if i am wrong lol. I am also removing the Tbi and going to clean it out with brake cleaner. Is there any way of testing the injectors on it? or telling if they are faulty

It doesn't have a TBI. No throttle body, no injectors in the intake. According to your sig, it's a Diesel. Diesels have the injectors in the head spraying into the combustion chamber, or, in the 6.5's case, the pre-combustion chamber. You can, however, get the injectors pulled from the head, and take them to an injection shop and have them pop tested.

well I am now seriously hoping that is the issue lol, I also noticed the mechanic who says he installed new injectors must not of tightened the IP up good enough because one of the nuts was underneath of it, and i was able to move the Unit by hand without using a whole lot of force, so im starting to think that could be where alot of the Pressure to the injectors was escaping from

Those solenoids crack. If it pulls in with 12 volts it's not your problem.
It's just the outer plastic that's cracked. has no effect on the inner coils of the solenoid.

*Sigh* Jumped the solenoid sure enough it works. Guess ill Try unhooking the fuel line to the IP and see how that runs. Im not exactly sure how to test the Governer ring *cant remember exactly what its called*, I remember reading in the 6.5 diesel tech book it can have 1/16 of an inch play i can move that piece all the way to the back of the IP and all the way forward (to the spring) it doesnt always Go back to its original position, hopefully someone has an idea what im talking about, but is it supposed to do that?

Decided to take a couple Pictures to help make what i was trying to say a little bit more clearer lol, the arrows are pointing to the piece the book says is supposed to move 1/16 of an inch. all in all its kinda confusing the heck out of me

The link is supposed to move back and forth and work the metering valve in the back of the pump. Should move freely.

Well I am happy To say after Pulling out 2 exploded glowplugs i think i have discovered what my Problem is, tomorrow i will be going about and checking the rest of them. So now how do i go about removing the particles :(, are they magnetic at all? Or do i have to rip the motor apart :( Thank God i didnt completely rip out my IP like i had planned on doing.
