How do you know it's slipping? Check engine light on?

Edge monitor... not the best way, but better then nothing

When your converters locked and you get on it... can you feel it slip? The reason I ask is that if its slipping when your cruising along I would imagine that it would not be able to hold the acceleration of your truck, and would just unlock instantly upon it.

mine was doing the same thing...never threw a code but with quad on 90 or 110 and after converter locked at 52 mph, all you had to do was roll onto the throttle and that baby would let loose...you could see it on the edge and you could feel it! it would acclerate slowly but if you let off and let it lock again then get back on it it would go fine....truck is at the trans shop right now:D

when its locked (tow/haul mode on example) it seems fine, hesitates a bit but thats because its downshifting...
