I'm planning on adding a 4" exhaust and EGR blocker plate for my first mod's. I know from reading other posts, this will throw codes. My question is, will the computer make adjustments causing any issues or will it simply store the code? I can live with the code and am a little leery of cutting into my wiring to add the stick.

Thanks............Dunk

If you get a cat-back system, you will NOT throw codes. The only time codes are thrown is when you remove the catalytic converter. The codes are P0401 and P0404 both of which are EGR codes. Your check engine light may or may not come on. If so, you will need the fingerstick, if not you are good to go. Hope this helps.

you will get the codes by blocking the EGR with the plate as well, even with no exhaust mod. Finger Stick worked like a charm, and I was leary about cutting into the wire harnes as well but the write up on how to do it in the do it yourself / how-to section was perfect.
I now have the blocker plate, Finger Stick and cat delet pipe (thanks DSTRBD). no codes any more.

As you can tell by the SIG below.....
I don't know why........but I have no SES light and once the codes were cleared I've yet to get them back. I don't have a Fingerstick and Don't have any codes according to the PREDATOR. 19,000 miles so far. GO FIGURE ...........
