Trying to install my gauges today and the plastic tube that came with the gauges got kinked while trying to pull it up to the pillar. Best I can tell the only kinked area is about a 6 inch section that is easily accessible under the dash.
What is the best option.
Repair by cutting out and splicing the damaged portion, or replace the whole tube?
If replace- with copper?
Or run copper under the hood splicing to the straight plastic and pull the good section up to the pillar?
I was being as careful as possible, but without a helper it just wasn't to be.

PM sent!
BTW,
I ordered the gauges from Chad and the first part of the shipment was at my door less than 48 hours later. Great response.
I really was planning on heading to Home Depot for the repair parts.
