I have an 05 lly. I hae never seen a "wait to start" light. I have looked through the manual and I have found nothing about it there. Does it have one?

Yes it has one. You probably won't see it until it gets colder. Look in the Diesel supplement manual.

You don't say where you are from. In Canada they use a symbol and in the US I think it says wait to start but I am not 100% sure. They symbol is a coil of wire.

Same here . . . took me a few days to find the light too. Pretty quick little sucker. ):h

Ditto on the coil of wire symbol!! I live in Florida and the symbol comes on briefly for about 1 to 2 sec's in the morning and thats all.

Coil wire? That isn't a pigs tail? ):h

Even after my truck has sat for several days it takes less than 2 seconds for that light to go off. I drove my buddies Ferd 6.0 last week and his takes forever to go off, and takes quite a few cranks to start. Later. JJ :)

Pig tail/coil on my 2005 LLY. Gotta be quick it's only there for about 2 seconds.

My Ferd Power Stroke (Work Truck) stays on several seconds in the winter. I was surprised how fast the Dmax light went out.
