Has anyone been able to find suitable replacements for the caps that go on the unused fuel return hose barbs on the #7 & #8 injectors? I recently replaced my injectors & reused these caps since I could not locate new ones. Now, the cap on #8 (it would have to be #8 :rolleyes:) is leaking.

It should come with the injector return line kits if you buy one?

Otherwise, you need to get the injector return line kits or check the diesel shop in Houston. They should have Dipaco return line kit.

I used the Dipaco kit with the no-clamp return lines. The only two clamps in the kit are for the new plugs for these two injectors. You can put the clamps on in advance then press the cap over the barb. That way you won't be fumbling with needle nose pliers. Dab the barbs with a drop of diesel fuel to help them slide on.

I didn't buy a kit. I just bought some Mercedes diesel return hose by the foot, & cut it to length. I hope I don't have to buy an entire kit just to get those caps. Thanks for the input.

For a fast simple free fix, cut a couple one inch sections of return line, screw a couple short tight fitting screws in one end of each, push them on the nipples. A bit of glue on the screws won't hurt. Piece of cake.
