Will do!

A lot has changed from very early on in all seriousness. Now only did I own a Suncoast but have driven in plenty too.So I should be able to make a decent evaluation. As it stands very early on ,mind you, that the ATS shifts faster then what I had.

It's like anything you don't know what your missing unless you've tried it. :)

I still have to figure out the Co-Pilot although :o:

Just got it in late yesterday

In Tow Haul where I spent most of my time in with the Suncoast most certainly the ATS shifts quicker and cleaner.Instead of the shift and converter lock up melting together,I can actually feel the shift complete then TC lock up.The Suncoast was just plain lazy,IMO as I'm seeing now.
This is with out the Co-Pilot on.I haven't even begun playing with the Co-Pilot .As far as a daily driver ,it Rocks and well mannered to boot!

Blood Red fluid, cool temps too,and I haven't been easy on it since my ass meet the seat! :D

"Princess" arrived this afternoon..............):h

I got to pilot her for 15-20 minutes...........:)

Did some light boost launches and some just "Stand on the throttle" launches............:cool2:

The ATS with the Co-Pilot clicked the shifts off 1-2-3-4-5.................:exactly:

In fact under a light boost launch with the Xtreme it smoked the DOOLEY tires thru 4th gear without so much as a hiccup............ ............ very quick shifting, but not mushed together , you can feel each gear as it clicks them shifts off.

Drivability was very good.......and it is quite unlike my Suncoast III..........even though the SC-III shifts very well and has excellent manners it is alot different than the ATS by far........

I have already ordered an ATS Co-Pilot and a MIKE L. trans cooler :ro) as we never saw a tranny temp over 150 all day and it was 85 degrees and humid today.......and we were flogging that ATS hard.........

Spray it, you'l love it. I went up tp Bangor Maine and did 700hp AND 1385 Torque on the bottle. That was with leaving my jets home:o: and only having a .91 with me. I borrowed a .101 from a dodge guy, but the jet was old and did'nt seem to fit quite right. At 700HP I still had plenty of fuel left. SD makes some awesome setup for our trucks, you'll be hooked the first time you hit that switch.:exactly:

hey guys, I just had my ats stage 5 tranny installed and tonight I Installed the co-pilot. I'm not sure about the lights on the controller,is one of the blue lights always supposed to stay on because mine goes off when I let up on the go pedal

I actually read the instructions on mine.:eek: Advice from a fellow ATS user (Trippin);
1)Main Level you want all the way to the right (firmest shift)
2)Sub Level--when you hold both the up/down buttons for 5 seconds-- you want all the way to the left (firmest shift)

I also found out that by holding the up button for 5 seconds, it goes into 'race' mode. (not sure how they define race mode)

Make sure you are running in tow/haul on, so the converter will lock. When the converter is locked in race mode, you will see a 'green' light at the bottom of all the blue lights.

The blue lights will light up according to how much boost the co pilot is reading. Kind of long, but hope this helps you.

EDIT: If there is no activity for about 5 seconds or so, it will go blank, but it's still on. Once you cycle the ignition, you will have to set it for 'race' mode again, but will still remember the main and sub levels.

The instructions don't mention the 'green' light, only the picture does.:D That little black box does wonders, I can spin em hitting 2nd gear and chirp from 3-4 shift.:ro) I was never able to do that on an idle launch before.:exactly:

I've done evrything as you say, I followed your rules without question, I thought it would help me see things clearly, but instead of helping me to see, i look around and it's like I'm blinded. I'm spinning out of control...out of control. I'm spinning out of control...out of control.

Where should I go? What should I do? I dont understand what you want from me. 'cause I dont know if I should trust you or all of the things you've said to me. and I may never know the answer to this endless mystery. Where should I go? What should I do? I dont understand what you want from me.

I feel like I'm spinning out of control, try to focus but everything's twisted. and all along I thought you would be here to let me know I'm not alone but in fact that's exactly what I was. I'm spinning out of control...out of control. I'm spinning out of control...out of control.

All alone and spinning out of control. Out of control...

I'll tell you what I know, or at least what I think I know

The copilot ties into your tow/haul signal at the back of the dash and also ties into your MAP sensor to pick up a boost signal, and of course it ties into the tranny wiring and also has some internal tranny parts that need installation.

It works by locking up the converter sooner (I think) and when it's on, it raises the line pressure to give firmer shift's (again I think) and somehow does some more magical stuff for better shift's that I'm not sure about yet.

If I find out more when mine get's here I'll let you know.

And since your in Cos Cob you should come to a dyno day and take a ride in Mack's. Did I mention I'm his :pimp:
