Installing the cat delete pipe is very simple especially since i have a suspension lift. So you probably have to remove the tranny cross member since you have a stock suspension, idk. But as far as everything esle goes, its very simple.

I went to the local exhaust shop and bought a used LB7 pipe(catless) for $60.00. I have stock height and went in fine without removing trans cross member. Just need to remove the little support bracket on the trans/exhaust(two or three bolts), unbolt the four bolt flange, and loosen the down pipe clamp. About 30 min.

Briano, maybe you can give me a tip on what buzz words to use,,I tried several and got mostly no match or few responses. I find the search difficult in all of the forums I belong to. Thanks,Frank

sorry, just saw this reply.. the search is a great feature, but only when the exact term is used..seems to be the same everywhere.

in your case you can search for cat delete etc..but the main term is "front pipe" which is the official name of that part. that will open up several more threads for you. Cat and Delete are everywhere...

so anyways.. there are several names for the same part.. cat delete pipe is also the LB7 front pipe while the catted pipe is also the LLY front pipe.

here..check this out, I have the parts, the prices, the contacts, and pictures..not ot mention I found it using the search.. lol

last year i got a magnaflow cat back 4 in exhaust stainless ,today i took it to a muffler shop they cut a 4 by 4 square in the cat and knocked out all the honey comb , then they welded the metal back, it took them about 2 hours and it only cost 50 bucks . what a difference i have hypertec power programmer 3 on level 2 when they took the honey comb out of the cat it feels like its on level 3 , i couldnt believe all the junk that was inside the cat it filled up a little box . 04.5 gmc 3500 dmax allison, dual rear crew cab 4x4 bw goose ,rhino liner ,air raid intake ,magna flow exhaust
