Do any of you Ford owners know if there is any talk of giving the Superduty trucks a new look? Any new large gas powerplants in the works for the Superdutys? Are there drawbacks, beside fuel mpgs, with the current V10 engine?

Thanks,

Tim

Very mild changes. Freshened up interior.

'04 has a bit of a body change, but unless you know what too look for you probably won't see it. Although it was enough of a change the the '03 Super Duty Ventvisor Crew Cab wouldn't work on the '04.

The V10 sucks gas pretty good, but it does better or as good as the Hemi. According to Road & Track the Hemi got at best 12mpg and worst 8mpg. That's pretty close to the V10. But once again if you open it up so it can breath and get a better Throttle body and use Mobile 1 Syn oil you can increase mpg a bit.

Although Ford has been talking of putting the 5.4L supercharged in trucks, but then I don't think it will be much of a work truck. This 5.4L being the one that is currently in the GT40.

BTW there is talk that Rousch, Yates, and Penske are getting together with Ford to create a few motors. That would be great.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Could you imagine a Penske block with Yates heads and Rousch intake?
