is the black maxxx a good tuner?

would u recommend it over a edge race or ppe

From the feedback we've gotten on the ones we've sold is, they seem to run good, seem to have good shifting characteristics, and very similar power to the Edge EVO Race tuning. The unit itself is very nice, basically the Bully Dog PMT, but with H&S tuning, so you get the adjustability on the fly like the Dog systems have.

I think they all have their advantages, so it's more like pick the one you think you're going to like to see every day, and buy that one. They all seem to be doing a good job these days.

For the money, I would go with the Edge Race. I am not a huge fan of adjust on the fly. That is the major difference of the two. With the BlackMaxx you can also do some custom tuning and save the changes you make. If that interested you.
