i have now been to 3 different drag strips, of which the last one i was at was union grove or the great lakes drag strip. they didnt like the fact that i have rubber hose for my fuel lines. he also told me that theres something that i can slide over the line to make him happy. he said it kinda looks like the steel braided lines but its not? you guys know of anything that i can use? it would be a little expensive to switch over to the other lines. any help at all would be nice!!

IIRC, they only allow 6" of rubber on each end in the fuel lines.
Gas is a lot worse than our diesel.
Airports that have mechanic shops sell the real braided hose cheaper than getting from a speed shop.

Pretty much any fuel hose can be used if under 12". If more than 12" is needed, then either steel or alum tubing, steel braided hose or any hose on the above list needs to be used.
Technically speaking, the braided covering that goes over the rubber hose is not legal. Now with that said, if done right, it may be possible to pass tech with it.
The tech guys at the local tracks do no care if it's a diesel vs. a gasser, still has to adhere to the same rules.

well the tech guy was telling me about this stuff. he said he didnt like it but he would pass me. he said that if i was a gasser he wouldnt of let me go, but i still ran, "just dont come back like this again."

Not to jack the thread, but does anyone know if they will let you run with an in-bed aftermarket fuel tank?
