I am waiting for the new engine. I pull a big fifthwheel and want the extra horse power. I have been wading through all the forums and feel I want the cleaner more efficent rig. Best of luck.

2009 are getting scarce, the 2010 are on the lots now. I just traded my 06 for an 09, hopefully i won't be sorry.

Start doing research on urea which will be standard on all diesel trucks from both Ford and GM for 2011. Dodge by the way will not use urea.

Urea freezes in cold climates and it also doesn't like heat. Pickuptruck.com had a large article on the pros and cons of urea and it is scary. The LML engine is rumored to be in the 700 ft lbs of torque range, but the urea tank to be installed on it also said to be between 8 and 10 gallons = extra weight and expense. According to Pickuptruck.com, urea will sell for between $2.50 and $3 per us gal. Oh, almost forgot, the DPF will still be on the trucks.
This was the main reason why I bought a 2009 instead.

I think I read somewhere it will add another 200-250lbs to the truck, so less payload as well. That is one of the reasons why I got my 09 when I did, I was not planning to buy one for a few more years.
