I am looking to get some air horns put on. :cool:Does anyone else have them? What kind did you get? Where did you mount them? I was thinking about train horns, but then I said I drive ships so why not keep in the theme:p:
Some ship horns would really be cool. But if I have to train are ok. Any thoughts/suggestions on where to get some and how to install? Thanks hope this is the right place for this.

I have one that I have been thinking about putting on...but its rather large:Dso I have been undecided. Not sure if I should use an air tank/compressor or like a nitrogen bottle:cool:

Been looking arround and I really like the deep tones better. Would really like to hide them away so you dont know anything is there. You know a really clean look or hidden
I should say. Thanks for the info so far.

I had a set of air horns on one of my previously owned trucks, it had the mini air compressor and air storage tank that supplied the air to the horns. I mounted the horns right under the front bumper under the tag mount. I had more people (after they composed themselves from having the chit scared out of them) wanting me to pull over and fight me when I blasted them than anything else I've ever added to any of my vehicles. Also having the finger flipped at me and shaking fists were the norm too. They do get peoples attention...lol. Just be per paired for a lot of negative responses, people just don't have a sense of humor now a days after being blasted...lol.

K3LA's here. Viair 480 with a 5 gallon tank mounted where the spare used to be. I have a Graham White valve beside the seat and a solonoid in the dash to operate it. F&#*in LOUD :D

I've had them on my 2500 for a couple of years. I've had the kit for my 3500 laying around for almost that long. Thinking about installing them this weekend.

I got a set, which are mounted where the spare use to be. I mounted a Viair tank/compressor in the bed of my truck. I have a nice big red button from a commercial grade video game mounted down on the left side of the steering wheel......it gets used frequently due to all the bonehead drivers in California.
