Maybe the wrong place to post this... but here it goes.
For this forum I think I know the answer.. Looking at 06 lly 52k cc for $28.5. Nice looking, haven't done real close inspection yet.
OR just bite bullet and buy new. I get GMS so for about 10-12k more...with warrenty etc.

Sooo many choices and not enough money. LOL

Any help and/or opinions might make life simpler.

Go for the 06!

The 06' has no DPF & has already taken the depreciation hit.

9 out of 10 people in the LMM forum will make up reasons why you should buy new.

9 out of 10 people in the LBZ forum will make up reasons why you should buy the 06.

Go with the better deal, depending on which interior/ exterior style you like more.

Both are good trucks and I would say it comes down to preference.
The 06's are great trucks and of course have no DPF system if that matters to you.
The New LMM are just as good really, but i have noticed the interiors to have considerably more squeeks and rattles then the old body style.
New truck will also come with warranty....

Thanks to all for the opinions, just what I wanted. Still undecided, but in no hurry. I too think $28 for the 06 is high. If I could get it for around $23, I think it would be the better deal. The 09s are hard to find right now, in Wisconsin. Keep the opinions coming!!!!

Try to get them down on the price of the 06. I like mine just stock, but if want more power you can add it real easy. Good luck with either truck.
